Three Elements of a Hero: #2 //GRIT//

Anything worth doing take hard work, patience, and a bit of difficulty. But in the end the time and effort is worth it when you achieve whatever it is you set out to accomplish. Dieting to lose weight. Finishing college. Relationships. Reaching Sports goals. Applying for a job. Across the board TIME + HARD WORK is an important part of the road to success.

Grit and perseverance are synonymous with doing hard things. you won’t get anywhere if you give up at the first, second, or third sign of trouble.

Ultimately, if you know what you’re doing and why, you won’t let difficulty stop you.

When things become painful or uncomfortable, embrace it. Recognize that the struggle is a necessary part of the process. In the end, the pain is not going to matter when you reach your goal.

The Christian life is a calling to faith and perseverance.

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18

(Suffering is temporary. Stay focused on what’s ahead. Whether that’s eternally or physically here on earth).

“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:” 1 Peter 1:7

(There’s something more valuable to money and wealth. God allows trials to perfect our faith.)

Whatever you are reaching for, remember may come with a cost, and that’s ok!
