Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; -Romans 12:12
Fun Friday Posts are going to be dedicated to lighter topics: favorite quotes, questions, thoughts, and ideas for whatever season we’re in!
Thoughts__________________
This week I’ve been thinking about what unsettled time we’re living in. No matter where you call home, you’re no doubt feeling the impacts of one of the following: the election, social unrest and division, Covid-19 Pandemic.
In a time when things seem uncertain, and potentially dark, it’s important to keep our eyes on the light. We know God is in control, and if we want to make our faith REAL, that means living like it! Here are a few verses that help me when I start to feel fear creep in.
– Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Romans 12:12
– Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he [it is] that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deuteronomy 31:6
– Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalm 27:14
Whenever I start to worry I remind myself of these verses, and I know God is in control, and when I’m waiting and trusting on Him there’s nothing to be afraid of.
Things____________
Here’s a quick plug for one of my favorite comfy workout items:
Capri Sweatpants with side pockets and drawstring!

There are so many reason to love these sweatpants: they are well-made, comfy, and the perfect length! I will 100% order these again when I need more. The olive green and gray are adorable!! Originally I bought Mediums, but if you want a slimmer fit, get Smalls (that’s what I’m going to get next time). Very comfortable for running, working out, or just lounging. (These would make a great gift, too!!)
Recommendation: 5/5
Thanks!____________
Having a attitude of thanksgiving is one of the best ways to be content and joyful! I like to make lists in my journal occasionally. Another great habit would be to daily write down three things you’re thankful for, and then thank God for those!
Here are three things I’m thankful for today: the fresh air, morning coffee, the gift of prayer.
